The Process
Initial Rinse & Pre-Wash
We start with a gentle but thorough rinse to remove loose dirt and grime. This is followed by a ph-neutral snow foam pre wash to lift contaminants from paint, plastics, and hard-to-reach areas which minimizes the risk of scratching and swirls during contact washing.
Detailed Hand Wash
Using a two-bucket method with soft microfiber mitts and an array of brushes, we wash your bike safely and thoroughly. We clean every part of the bike: from bodywork to wheels, spokes, forks, engine casing, and under-seat areas. Special attention is given to intricate areas such as the brake calipers, radiators, and chain guards.
Chain & Drivetrain Cleaning
The chain is degreased and scrubbed with specialist tools to remove built-up grime and old lube. Once dry, it’s re-lubricated with a high-quality chain lubricant, tailored to your bike's specific situation (wet lube/dry lube)
Decontamination (Please Enquire)
For bikes needing a deeper clean, we perform chemical decontamination using iron fallout removers and tar removers. This lifts stubborn road contaminants from metal and paint surfaces which are not removed from regular contact washing — particularly helpful after winter riding or long mileage.
Metal & Chrome Polishing
Exhausts, levers, bar ends, foot pegs, and other chrome components are polished using non-abrasive metal polishes to restore their original showroom shine.
Plastics & Rubber Dressing
We dress all plastics, rubbers, and vinyl's with a ceramic-graphene, UV-protective dressing to restore richness and prevent fading or cracking. This includes parts such as the dash surrounds, mudguards and hugger.
Protection with Ceramic Sealant
To finish, we apply a high-quality ceramic sealant to painted surfaces. This adds gloss, makes cleaning easier, and provides lasting protection from UV rays, rain, and road grime.
